Léonard Tsuguharu Foujita 藤田 嗣治 (Tokyo 1886 – Zürich 1968)
Tsuguharu Foujita was a Japanese-French artist born in Tokyo, Japan, and worked in Montparnasse in Paris, France. After his move to Paris, Foujita met and became close friends with prominent avant-garde artists of the day such as Amedeo Modigliani, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse and Chaïm Soutine.
